Lifelines Opening Event

J. Clark Photography Gallery

1500 W 6th St, Austin, TX 78703, USA

Event Description

The mission of the Lifelines project is to depict the bond between people and their pets. This series of images, by photographer Norah Levine, and the corresponding audio interviews were gathered over the past year in various locations around Austin and in the city’s outlying areas.  It is intended to honor the unique relationship between Austin’s homeless and the animals they care for and travel with – many of whom are recognized fixtures in the local community.

This mutimedia exhibit benefits the Animal Trustees of Austin’s 4PAWS program (For People and Animals Without Shelter) which provides wellness care, spay/neuter surgeries, emergency treatment to pets belonging to the homeless population of Central Texas and beyond.
